About the role
Find agricultural supply, build partnerships, and use Leptex to turn produce into completed sales. This is a full-time, on-site role in the United States, involving work at farms, supplier locations, and buyer sites as needed.
Compensation: Cash compensation and any variable-pay arrangements have not yet been determined. Compensation, any applicable benefits, and any commission or bonus terms will be agreed in writing before work begins.
What you'll do
- Find supply: Identify farms, producers, and available batches of agricultural products that match buyer demand.
- Meet partners: Visit potential suppliers to understand their products, selling needs, and cooperation expectations.
- Verify the goods: Confirm product quality, quantities, prices, selling windows, and fulfillment conditions before proposing an offer.
- Agree on terms: Negotiate within approved limits and clarify sales authorization, payment, fulfillment, and after-sales responsibilities.
- Prepare sales on Leptex: Turn merchant-approved product information and buying conditions into clear offers on the platform.
- Develop buyer channels: Connect with relevant buyers, communities, and referral partners through appropriate outreach.
- Test the opportunity: Run a small, approved sales plan and use actual orders to decide whether to expand it.
- Follow through on orders: Coordinate payment confirmation, fulfillment handoffs, and buyer questions with the responsible merchant.
- Build repeat business: Review completed sales, refunds, and feedback to improve the next offer and sustain cooperation.
- Work effectively with AI: Use AI for research, proposals, and records while checking facts and protecting confidential information.
What we're looking for
- Learning ability: You quickly understand unfamiliar products, supply arrangements, buyer needs, and tools.
- Initiative: You find useful leads, start conversations, and turn opportunities into practical action.
- Relationship building: You earn trust with suppliers, buyers, and partners through reliable communication and follow-up.
- Commercial communication: You can negotiate in English, explain terms clearly, and stay within your authority.
- Product judgment: You recognize which questions about quality, availability, and timing need verification.
- Execution: You can move a partnership from an introduction through an approved offer to actual sales.
- Channel understanding: You know how to reach suitable buyers and test demand for a particular product.
- AI tool fluency: You use AI to work faster and check its output before sharing it.
- Organization: You keep accurate partner, product, and order records and distinguish interest from completed sales.
- Evidence of ability: No particular degree or minimum years of experience are required; show relevant practical results.
How we measure success
Sales: Paid and fulfilled orders and net product sales after refunds.
Fulfillment: On-time fulfillment, cancellation, and refund rates.
Repeat business: Repeat buyers, repeat-purchase rates, and continued supply partnerships.
